This week we are reading the folk tale Half - Chicken. There will be a quiz Friday on this story. Friday is also an out of uniform day for Jake's Journey. Please encourage your children to keep reading. They need to read 8 more books for this trimester.

This week includes a Religion test Friday on chapter 13, and a Spelling test on unit 25.
Our story this week is a play, BLAME IT ON THE WOLF. We will have fun this week acting it out. The children will take turns playing the different characters. The test on this story will be Monday, March 17th.
Next week is Holy Week. We will learn about the 3 most important days in our Church year.

Welcome back from Easter break! Following the theme of Opening Day, our story for this week is LOU GEHRIG, THE LUCKIEST MAN. I have also asked the children to read another biography book, and to complete a book report form. This is due April 24th. They should also take the accelerated reading test for LOU GEHRIG. The test on this story will be Friday, April 4th.

Mrs. Girdauskas, who is the student teacher, is taking her turn in my class. She will be with us until the beginning of May.

In Religion class this week we are talking about forgiving someone who may have hurt us, no matter how difficult it might be. The test on chapter 14 will also be on Friday.
