Tomorrow November 7th is the test on A Cricket in Times Square. The children should know the answers to the comprehension questions at the end of the story, and know the vocabulary.

Friday of this week we will also have our Religion test on Chapter 6. This is also the end of our 1st trimester. All accelerated reading tests are due on Friday.

Report cards will be distributed on Friday, November 16th. Parent teacher conferences are scheduled for Monday, November 19th. I look forward to meeting with you!

I have asked the children to bring in newspaper articles showing people being kind to each other. We are studying the Beatitudes in Religion, and we are looking for examples of people who are "living" the Beatitudes.

We will have a quiz on our story, "A Big-City Dream" on Friday, November16. The children can be out of uniform on Friday, to thank them for all of the food they have been bringing in this week.

Report cards go home on Friday. Please sign the brown envelope and return it to school on Monday. I look forward to seeing you on Monday.
