Guess Who Game
Fifth Grade Science
Complex Invertebrates

Label the top section: Mollusks
Choose three types of mollusks.
Find two characteristics about that mollusk.
List the type of symmetry it has.

Write the three things on the cover of the paper and glue onto the large piece. As you lift the flap that the three facts are on, draw a picture of the mollusk and write its name under the drawing.

Label the middle section: Echinoderms
Choose three types of echinoderms.
Find two characteristics about that echinoderm.
List the type of symmetry it has.

Write the three things on the cover of the paper and glue onto the large piece. As you lift the flap that the three facts are on, draw a picture of the echinoderm and write its name under the drawing.

Label the third section: Arthropods
Choose three types of arthropods.
Find two characteristics about that arthropod.
List the type of symmetry it has.

Write the three things on the cover of the paper and glue onto the large piece. As you lift the flap that the three facts are on, draw a picture of the arthropod and write its name under the drawing.

6th grade science

Due Thursday
Find 3 pictures (from any source) of a product of a chemical reaction.
Using the internet (or someone who knows chemical equations!) find 3 chemical equations. Copy the equation out properly and label the reactant and label the product.
There will be a quiz on Thursday based on the science experiment we performed in the lab on Tuesday. You may use the notes you wrote (in class) on Wednesday for an aide for the quiz.

Morning help

Just a reminder...
Please know that your child is more than welcome to come in for science help. I am here by 7:30am each day. If they ever have any questions about homework or something we are studying, don't let them (or you) be frustrated at home. Put the assignment away, and have them here at 7:30am the following morning. My goal is to have the kids love science-not to be frustrated with the subject. I offer tutoring sessions on Thursday mornings at 7:30 for anyone having difficulties or just need a litte help. The most important thing is to be here at 7:30am. Thanks for your help.

KISSING BUG

I like to sleep at night in the cracks of your floor.
I love to steal your blood from you. I will pierce
your lips, eyelids or ears while you sleep. How
will you know that it's me? Well, X marks the spot.
When my wings fold over, they make an X on my abdomen.
If you find this Kissing Bug...Beware!
