Kidnapped
Sixth grade reading will begin their final class novel today. The students will be "reading" the first book in the series, "Kidnapped" by Gordon Korman. Homework over the weekend consisted of a short biography of the author and vocabulary for the first few chapters. After each group of chapters, the students will have assignments to complete. I saved this novel for the end of the year in hopes of motivating the kids to continue to read the series over summer break.
