Reading

Reading Test on Thursday. Vocabulary Test on Friday. Partner Reading Day is Thursday. Bring a book!

Essay questions for the reading test may be written on looseleaf paper and can be brought to the test. Use your book and write the page number along with the correct answer.
1. Why does the author mention an ocean while talking about scientists' search for answers about the universe?

2. Name a fact (that's all you have to do here so look in your book!) by the author that supports the generalization that galaxies, as well as stars, have a life cycle.

3. Name one (only one) thing the author does to help readers understand this selection.

Book Report for November. Are you reading your historical book??? On Monday, we will discuss the report that you will present after Thanksgiving break. In this report, you may dress as your character would have dressed and present a short speech telling us the "who, what, where, when, why of your character and story. Please bring your book to class on Monday!

Thanks for checking the blog! Have a great day.
