8th grade-Please look over your packet of information this weekend. We will break into small groups on Monday to work on cross examination questions and direct examination questions. Please read the reports of the witnesses. You are doing a great job!

Earth's temperature has increased during the past decade, changing the physical state of a portion of Earth's water and producing some very dramatic, powerful, and deadly weather patterns. Research some aspect of global warming as it applies to a specific change of state of water.
OR- check out Will Steger's website on his upcoming exploration to prove that global warming does in fact exist. Read the adventure that Steger is about to begin and write a short paper about the travels he is about to begin and what he hopes to prove on this expedition.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE SEVENTH AND EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS (along with a few others younger students....)WHO RAISED MORE THAN $3400.00 TO BE DONATED TO THE ST. BALDWICK FOUNDATION. I am amazed at how the kids grabbed onto this idea and ran with it!!! I had heard that the Chicago Fire Department were going to be involved in this fundraiser for children who have cancer and asked my students if anyone would be interested. Never, never did I imagine the enthusiasm that came with this fundraising event. Thank you for being so brave to help kids....and thanks to the parents too. AWESOME!!!!
