Cozy up with a good book!
Our library is very busy this month. Some of the activities are:
Science Fair
The 5th - 8th graders are working on science fair projects and research papers.
The students are working on getting their resources for their projects.
They are looking for books and internet sites and also learning how to put it all together for their bibliography.
Book Fair
Our theme this year is "Take a Reading Road Trip"
Our Book Fair begins on Sunday, January 27th after the Catholic School Mass at 10:00.
It will be held in Kane Hall.
Students in preschool - 8th grade will get a chance to visit the book fair during the week.
Parents can also buy a book for a teacher and also buy an accelerated reading quiz that week.
Bookmark Contest
Grades 2nd - 8th grade are working on designing a creative bookmark to go along with our book fair theme this year.
Winners will be displayed at the Book Fair.
Accelerated Reading Point Club
This week our point club will be redone. So look for your name under how many ar point you have.
Pizza Party
The top readers with the most ar points in grades 2 - 8th will be invited to a pizza party in the library at the end of the month.
Winter is a great time to cozy up with a good book.
